I just wanted to share a thought...

How often do we look at our childrens behaviour as challenging when it may just be normaly development?

Like throwing books down our stairs, my little son the scientist is learning physics. Speed, depth and velocity. Its not a way to make a mess or create more work its merely a learning experience.

Head-on!

My 19 mos old is a messy drinker. :knegg: Her water is all over, basically. I think she actually wants to clean, she immediately starts wiping with her sleeves! :fnis:

Maika, I wish you could have seen me, DS5, DS6 and DS7 (6, nearly 4 and 20 months) companionably washing the kitchen floor yesterday.

Ds7 cleans up all his spillages so itsa great thing to do, learning about pouring and also about consequences of pouring and about cleaning.

Looks like they did a great job!

Our favourite thing with Ds7 is climbing, everywhere. At 9 months he was climbing up a 1.6m slide in the garden.
